Fugl-Meyer Assessment of Motor Recovery

     Initialement, le FMA était composé de 5 sous-domaines (fonction motrice, sensations, amplitudes articulaires, douleurs articulaires, équilibre). Aujourd'hui seule la section de l'évaluation de la fonction motrice est recommandée.   
Le FMA moteur permet d'évaluer les déficits de la commande motrice et de la régulation des mouvements volontaires. Il est considéré comme le test de référence pour l'évaluation de la fonction motrice au niveau international. Il se compose de deux sous- échelles (FMA-UE et FMA-LE) qui peuvent être utilisées séparement. Il se base sur les stades de récupération de Brunstroom et Twitchell.
